@Phosfate: I'm gonna add The Martian by Andy Weir. It's hard SF that is also extremely funny. It's 300+ pages but they fly by. There's also a "classroom edition" that I assume takes the cussing out, but honestly the cussing is half the fun.

Tuck everlasting i liked as a kid, i also quite enjoy the casebook of a privite cats eye

i read kid books bc its easier on my brain but casebook of a private cats eye was AMAZING and i highly recommend it, even if its for kids
