II don't know how your mom works, but getting mine to do something usually just took, "Dude, you wanna do this with me?" Sometimes it took a couple of tries and then she was knee deep in anime or horror movies.

@CodyMakesKandi: This. I got a bag full of beads and cord from Dollar Tree for well under ten bucks. Double check their hours on the phone, though, because the web site lies.

for beads, dollar tree sells pony beads. it's not much but they have some clear ones and regular ones. if you have access to amazon, there's a 5lb box of random beads you can buy that gives you a good amount for the price ($2.52 USD per lb)

here's the link to the beads. https://www.amazon.com/Beadery-Bonanza-Mixed-Craft...

now for string, i would recommend fabric covered elastic because it doesn't dry rot and is less likely to snap on you, most dollar trees sell this but if you would like a large spool of it here's a link to it on amazon

and for how you would make them, i would recommend tutorials on youtube. VickyMuffins and MoodKandi, as well as others, make good tutorials for things like peyote stitches, x base cuffs, and multistitch cuffs.

hope this helps!! tbh jump

p.s. the patterns on this site are usually for multi or peyote, if you wanna get into making bigger cuffs, id recommend starting with the x base one! once you learn that you can make a bunch of different chunky bracelets!
