i've heard that my school district is considering tearing down the elementary school I went to so they can get more money and it makes me sad :[

I understand why they're doing it because the building is old, but that means hundreds of kids including my little sister are gonna have to change schools and separate from their friend groups :[ plus i'll really miss that place if they tear it down, i have a lot of memories centering around that school
