I got a bit of cash (remember cash?) and stopped at Michaels on the way home for a bag of those oily black beads I like. The clerk said, "So what do you do with all these beads?" I've bought a boatload of beads there in the last month because the Christmas bead bags were 90% off and I could fill a shoebox with them for under $10.
The answer is, of course, beading. I mean, what the Helen Hunt else do you do with beads? But now I'm sorry I didn't say something like, "I've been contracted to make a city bus snood for the holiday parade in December," then see how long I could keep the gag going. "I'm gonna need to order a bunch of LED lights in July. Are they on the website?"
Daylight Savings Time makes me mean.
