tally hall thing ive noticed

So I was listening to Two Wuv and I noticed that the riff in it sounds a lot like the one in Walkie Talkie Man by Steriogram. The songs are only a year apart, and Walkie Talkie Man is a decently popular song, so I don't really think this is a coincidence? The only big differences are that the 3rd measure in the riff repeats the first measure instead of going up a note. (or two I'm not sure) I also think it might be in a different key, but it really sounds similar

If there's any big tally hall fans I'd like to know ur thoughts !!

@tally_hall_obsessed: there's this segment on a rock n roll radio my dad listens to called the "daily double take" where they play 2 songs that sound very similar back to back!!! it's very fun (that radio program in general is pretty great because the music is often interluded with cool facts about the bands!!!)

a lot of artists songs sonds similar. after all, there is a finite number of chords and notes and it can be hard to come up w/ something that doesn't sound like somethng else
