ok so i am saying this as someone who dislikes the dsmp, a lot, but its never a reason to harass the fans who support non problematic creators. if you support a problematic creator like dream or schlatt then that isnt really the best, but its way better to inform the person rather then harass them bc not all dsmp fans are the " omg gogy x dweam uwuwuuwuwuuw poggers arson GRRRR WORSHIP DREAM OR ELSE" people (saying pog is fine btw) i just wanna make it clear that cringe culture isnt ok

i'm not a dsmp fan anymore because of how toxic the fandom is, and issues with common creators in it. i just wanna watch eret in peace man. they're swag as heck.

but yeah, we have headmates sourced from it because we had a two year hyperfix on it, and so many alters have been harassed by antis, which is just...not okay. antis in pretty much any situation are incredibly toxic, just as much so as the toxic stans.

I genuinely can't believe people my age and older think they're some sort of saviors for harassing children just for liking a minecraft youtuber. I've even seen people try and force them to make themselves stop hyperfixating on it/having it as a special interest and it just seemed so... brainwash-y to me. like, they're just young teens liking young teen things. they're probably gonna grow out of it later in life.

I used to be a dsmp fan, But I left due to when there was dreamsexuals. That drew the line for me, I still watch ranboo and such, (the good creators) And My friends enjoy it so idc! because that's what they like, and idc what people enjoy if its not hurting anyone

Some kid tried to harsh one of my friends about like dsmp. That isn't ok.

I think the only reason we're still considered to be in the dsmp fandom is because we still watch my source and Ranboo, along with still being a big Lovejoy fan

Yes, we have some dsmp sourced alters, but collectively we fell out of the fandom

i get called a dream stan but i dont even watch Dream or support him, also got told to kms bcuz a person thinks im a dream stan, she also takes photos of me

i thibk the reason i get called thaf tho isbcuz when i had tik tok (i dont jave any socials other than here, slinkchat, & quotev bcuz my parents deleted all my social medias bit they dobt know abt those 3-) anyway- i had posted a video saying how dreamsexuals arent valid jusr admit you got a obsessive crush & move on, i also made a video abt toxic Addison Rae fans bodyshaming Nihachu, & there were others but i dont remember djdj & at the time i WAS in the fandom but i just kinda lost interest in it & it was becoming too toxic for me to handle. i now only watch Slimecicle, Ranboo, Tommy, Nihachu, Jack Manifold, Quackity, Wilbur, & Philza. im unawre if Wilvur, Quackity, Jack, & Tommy have done anything problematic if they have PLS message me abt it ^^

i was in the fandom for abt a year in 2021 then recently fell out of it bcuz of the "uwu dweam" people & bcuz of a certain someone at my school, but also bcuz i just lost interest in it by myself. now i only like/watch some of the creators

THANK YOU!!! alot of the fanbase has it as their special interest aswell. i left dsmp a long time ago but my bf has it as a special interest and he cant go anywhere online without being mocked. its dumb and liking something doesnt = supporting it.
