Should I take the offer to sell my work?

My grandma runs her own Ma & Pa type restaurant and has offered me for years to sell my works (kandi, crafts, other stuff.) I’ve never taken her up on it because 1. I thought my crafts were ugly 2. I wanted to have higher skill level before selling anything. Well now I’ve been making kandi for ~4 years and I’ve been making a lot of really pretty ones that aren’t fandom specific aswell as other small bracelets that aren’t kandi. I kind of want to try to sell them there, but I’m also worried they won’t sell or someone (a child) will possibly be messing with them and break them. I also have no idea how I’d price them. What if people see them as junk and won’t pay like $5 for my big cuffs. My other non kandi bracelets will be a lot cheaper but idk how to price any of them. Srry for such a long question, thankyou to anyone who sees this haha5148648a74905_raining-cloud.gif

i think you should give it a shot! even if it doesn't work out, i'm sure they'd be a hit online somewhere

it sounds like selling would be a good idea! I used to sell singles and stuff for like 2 bucks each. They sold decently. With cuffs u might wanna use a thicker string covered in fabric. Most of the time artists and creators de-value their own work, so I would ask around for how much people would pay for cuffs and stuff. Good luck!!!kao happy

i sold a few so i would say it's definitely something you can do if you want..... just be warned that small children WILL break a cuff or two if they are made with weaker string, found that out the hard way when i went to collect my earnings and returned to the display to find beads EVERYWHERE.

Yes!! i think you sould if you want to start selling something, you have to start somewhere!!!

I recommend studying in a bit of business stuff because that really help me, make sure you have enough supplys, and price what you think your kandi is worth!

I sold singles for 1$, and a bunch of people bought them!!!

I think you should! there will always be people who enjoy your art, and even if you cant sell them that well at least maybe you could introduce someone to kandi? I think it could be worth a shop, esp if people don't make kandi often happy
