i don't own too many comics because i read them reallyyyy fast so i tend to not actually *buy* them, but i have two out of three of the umbrella academy books (and am looking into getting the killjoy comics cuz gerard way's writing is epic), a handful of the edward scissorhands comics, one of the jose and the pussycat's books, one of the spider gwen books, all of scott pilgrim, and i really want both more deadpool comics and more penguin-centered batman comics because deadpool and the penguin are some of my favorite comic book characters i also used to read a lot of manga via my partner lending me a bunch of their books so i own one of the collector's editions of fruits basket (specifically number 4 which is like right in the middle of the series) and book number 2 of tokyo ghoul. (like with other comics buying manga is sorta a commodity for me so i tend to buy the books that have my favorite scenes in them! in tokyo ghoul's case i bought the second book because it had one scene that really disturbed me which means it did a good job at being a good horror story. lol. i actually wanna get back into tokyo ghoul because the manga is really fucking good, i just never got around to sitting down and reading it all!)

anyway infodump aside my favorite comic book character is most definitely the penguin. and i have a soft spot for dc comics because i grew up with the batman cartoons and i think dc just has cooler villains than marvel, and it's more villian focused in a lot of ways, and im an absolute sucker for villian characters.
