so today my school announced a D&D club (I don’t play but I think it’s cool) and the amount of people that didn’t know it was a real thing/ was only from stranger things was embarrassing 513b55c740178_kao_sick.gif

I tried to get into DnD and kinda drifted away from it and then Stranger Things got popular again and now I ain't even thinking about playing again because I can't read anything without seeing ST

some people are assholes about it and that's not cool but if even like, a few people discover a new cool ass hobby because of stranger things i think that's awesome! i only got into dnd last year because i hadn't had an opportunity to play it before then, but my school had a club so i joined and i made a bunch of new friends because of it! if you let it be a cool experience it can be a *really* cool experience and i want more people to get to have that kinda thing.

oh em gee i can't believe they actually made the game from stranger things into a real thing! it's crazy how popular some things can become, and what comes from such. it's so crazy. thumbsup

I used to be in the dnd club as a dm/gm, but then all these stranger things s4 fans started joining and not even really caring about the game itself so i had to quit crying
