what jokes did you not understand for a while

hi we just realized that the chicken joke is that he dies when he crosses the road. what are some jokes you never understood for a while?

I am...INCREDIBLY sheltered. I'm also incredibly outgoing, and love goofing off at school because I can't do that too much at home.

well! one day in 6th grade, I thought it'd be fun to make a straw out of a banana- I'm not sure why, but apparently drinking milk was just too boring.

and so I cut my banana in half and proceeded to drink milk from a hole i made through it? And my dear friends were laughing so hard, calling me so innocent(which I was).

it took me four years to find out why they found it so funny, and it still haunts me to this day.

the road work ahead uh yeah i sure hope it does vine. I was really confused until I finally understood what it meant was in 2020 (the first time I saw the vine was sometime in 2017)
