This question isn't very clear. What do you mean by "save a picture"? Do you mean the pattern? Or a pic that you imported? You can't save a pic that you imported. You can only save the pattern. You can either save it to the site to edit later (click the orange up arrow), or save it to your computer (click the floppy disc icon with a down arrow). If you save it to your computer you will not be able to edit it later. You cannot put the pattern into a category. If you want the pattern to be in a category on this site, make sure that you check the "Share on site" checkbox every time you save the pattern. It will then be voted on, and if it's voted to be accepted the mods will decide which category it fits best in. However, we only accept a very small percentage of patterns so there's no guarantee it will be added to any category.
