maladaptive daydreaming feels really weird

maladaptive daydreaming combined with hyperfixations helps when making ocs for fandoms, like yoy could make a super fleshed out character in only a few days, it also gives free entertainment for me.

although its annoying trying to focus, like i'll be trying to draw or do research fro school stuff, and i get frustrated quickly bc whatever im hyperfixated is all i wanna think about, and its really annoying when that happens

its also fun revisiting old obsessions and ocs from what ever you were obsessed with, sort of feels like going to somewhere you used to always go to. + its interesting noticing patterns in what ocs you make, example : always giving the main oc a certain type of traume, hair color, ect

also being able to just daydream if your in a bad situation to cope, although i wouldnt recomend having that as a coping mechanism, bc its not really healthy to do that, just running away from trauma doesnt solve anything or make you feel better in the long run

another thing is that its kind of a form of dissasotiation which uh, really isnt healthy, like i could just be immearsed in daydreaming all day then reality hits me hard. the realisation leaves you with an empty and dead feeling, like as if you just woke up from a coma and learned everything was just a dream and was all a lie

another thign is that your never really fully there, like you could not be daydreaming but you never really are fully there, always a little zoned out. its a weird feeling. stuff just doesnt sink in as much. you spent most of your time being in a fantasy you made, to the point it starts to feel more real than where you are.

overall 4/10 has some benifits but disadvantages suck a lot

@N0xyLL: damn- that’s super cool!

my friends dad had an interest in coins a long time ago:] it’s super cool hearing about people special interest!!

@N0xyLL: I actually have 2 $2 bills! kao happy I remember when I got them my mom was like "lol don't actually use them because most people think they're counterfeit" which is fair because I've never ever seen any others again in the wild kao cry

Additionally I also have a couple $1 coins but to be honest I think that $2 bills > $1 coins kao mad

@my_names_Ars0n: >:] IM BACK ! I want a pet squirrel so bad kao mad there's only a few states where it's legal to keep them in the USA tho !! I'm from Illinois and you need a wildlife rehabilitator license to keep them here, as far as I'm aware the green states for owning them without permits are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Lousiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia! There are a few yellow states where there isn't specific laws or you need some kind of permit which are Wyoming, West Virginia, Utah, South Dakota, Rhode Island, North Carolina, North Dakota, Mississippi, Maine, Idaho, Illinois and Florida (possibly more/less). Oh! Speaking of IL, there's something called Leucism which is lack of melanin but not all melanin like Albinism and in the USA Illinois has the largest population of Leucistic squirrels! (as far as I'm aware, there isn't a ton of research on certain things for me to look into). I think Leucism is really cool because you can get completely white Leucistic animals but you can also get ones with patches of white! You can tell the difference between a Leucistic animal and an Albino animal by their eyes, Leucism doesn't strip all pigment so their eyes will still be naturally colored! Where as Albino animals (and people) have pink-purple eyes! heart bounce

rn for kandi id pick some halloween colours (like purple, green, orange, n black mainly) for singles and words that r associated with halloween (Like ghost, spooky, zombie, skeleton, etc. etc.)

and of course I wanna talk about my special interest: money! Physical money more specifically, i cannot begin to grasp non-tangible money.

I love counting coins thats my main thing and an example (CW: Death/passing mention) my aunt had a vase of coins and when she passed her son/my cousin allowed me to have the money in there because I wanted to also count them all and it was very very very fun to count the coins all. (cw over) I also used to have a collection of all of the US state quarters when I was younger but I've since lost them (v sad) and i recently found an online game that has me count money and I couldn't be happier to know I can just count it at any time. My favorite coins are quarters, something about them just having the most design (The state quarters, national parks, etc) i just love, and why one of my favorite numbers is 4.

I also love foreign currency and have quite a big collection of coins from places like the middle east, Japan, Korea, Canada, Britain, Mexico, Thailand, and probz more ehehe. My favorite coin from all of my collection is an american penny from the year 1857, and not only is the age of it interesting, there's also a flying eagle displayed on it, which is the only american coin to ever do so. Some of my other favorite oddities in my collection of money are my 2 dollar bill, which I got for change back during a carnival (makes me wonder if it could have been counterfeit, o noes) A little list of currency id love to get my hands on one day is the american 2 and 3 cent coins, a norton dollar (From a guy who declared himself emporer of the united states and made his own money), and hopefully other dollar bills from other places because I only have coins from those places.

Money does ooze into my other interest, world cultures and languages, the latter which is more interesting to me but not as much as money is. Mainly because you can tell what people of an era or place found important to them enough to the point where it's put on their money. Also yeah, one of the jobs I'd love to do is to be a cashier or to handle money in some way, or maybe it'll just remain a hobby, who knows. tbh jumptbh jumptbh jump
