this is kinda random but i’m so happy omfg

im so glad i have similar music taste to my mum so i can raid her massive cd collection lmaoo

omg that's awesome!! if you have a computer with a disc drive you can make custom mixtapes with blank cds as well!

@R3LAXR0NAN: if you live in the us, theres half price books in most states, which is a second hand bookstore that also sells vinyl, cds, and cassettes. that's where i get most of my stuff lol. have had good luck finding stuff like duran duran, talking heads, and all that eighties new wave stuff, if you like that.

@arefriendselectric: ooh that’s great!! i do listen to a lot of 80s/90s stuff so it’s pretty good to be able to get it cheap

there’s a store near me too which sells secondhand vinyl/cd/tapes/etc. and they occasionally have good stuff, so that’s probably what i’m going to rely on to grow the collection lmao

i rlly wanna expand my own collection of cds as well, rather than just using my mum’s lol
