What are new things I can try?

Saplingsys 10/3/2022 09:28 pm 585

I need ideas of new things I can try. Hobbies, general things to do, different things to research, things like that. (Slight tw for dissociation for this next sentence?) Sometimes it feels like each day is too similar, and that I'm not doing different enough things every day. Does anyone have any ideas? Feel free to list however many you want!

maybe you can try out coding? I've been learning since july and its so much fun! it takes a while to learn, but the nice thing is that since its your website, you can do whatever you want with it! you can make pages about your interests, or you could even start a blog or something! idk, its just so fun to have the freedom to make whatever you want. If you ever do want to start coding, i would suggest checking out https://neocities.org/ its a website that you can use to host sites, and its what i use too! html and css take a while to learn, but its so worth it dance

cross stitch. if you can get your hands on some floss + linen (or waste canvas), you can use perler patterns to make some cool designs nd stuff!! so it's an easy thing to start if you're already doing this. it's also one of the easiest ways to get into embroidery in general, and one of the most fun cuz you can use patterns and don't need to use a lot of brain power yk?

i mean you could try balloon twisting (theres some super good videos online like you could learn how to make a shark or a monkey or a teddy bear (the teddy bear is a pain in the but but its so cuteee)), weaving, origami, embroidery (time consuming but relaxing), drawing the same tiny shape over and over until it makes a super cool pattern
