How do you find inspiration for OCs? I have almost no inspiration5148b8c8996e8_sick.gif...

Well, I have a few ideas but there's a lot that I need to add to make them actual characters. (I know I'm bad at explaining stuff,)

To make my oc's feel more human, I make them pinterest closets! Fashion is a big part of identity so that always helps. Aside from that, each of my oc's also has a board dedicated to things that remind me of them.

Also!! Playlists.

i like to turn my favorite tropes into OCs happy like Mad Scientist or Average Guy. i start out with a stereotypical character, but then add on to their story until they’re my own!

probs not the best person to answer but I'd recommend going on Pinterest to look at character design, if you have a rough idea for a story you can work on crafting an aesthetic for the world and the characters. Stuff like emoji prompts or adopts can also help, my favorite of my OCs are ones that can be simplified to just a few core symbols.

I've also had the most luck when I've collabed with friends on a design/story!
