What is wrong with Danganronpa? I understand it is gorey and stuff, I just dont comprehend what is so bad about it. I absolutely love the games and the animation, but what is so wrong with it? (DONT CANCEL ME PLEASE )

i believe the creators of the game are problematic, but as long as you don't think what the creators did is alright, i think it's fine to like the game

The fandom gets a bad rep, i personally think the game is cool, but im not in the fandom periodt.

theres nothing really that wrong.

BUT.

the fandom is awful, i personally like danganronpa, and cosplay danganronpa, but i dont get involved with the fandom, its way too problematic and just not worth spending time ranting over ships. so i just stay away from the fandom and enjoy the game/anime

its racist and anti-semitic!

korekiyo, peko, kokichi, ishimaru, mondo (?) and more characters all wear n4zi imagery or n4zi themed imagery, mostly on their sleeves, but kokichi wears a hat which i think is literally meant to like, be h!tlry based (?), and theres a lot of anti-semitic themes (kokichi's talent is a good example)

and then the only confirmed BIPOC character is the ultimate farmer, which i've seen a lot of BIPOC say is rly racist due to how during slavery BIPOC were forced to farm cotton and stuff, a lot of the other characters who are implied to be BIPOC have rly racist character designs (ex : yashiro's hair)

ofc, I can't really talk on either of these as im not jewish or black, this is just what i've heard from other people!! (if i worded anything in here wrong pls tell me i dont wanna offend anyone /gen)
