cosplay advice?

i’m cosplaying for the first time for the nerd convention next summer- i wanted to go as skull kid but i wanted to make the entire costume by myself except the shoes. where do you get the funky shoes with curly toes? tia

Maybe u could find shoes that match skull kid's and get modeling clay or foam to make them look pointy? or maybe u could find shoes that r pointy and paint them to look like skull kid's, that's usually what I do when I want specific shoes for a cosplay but can't find any that r the right color
