Any tips on ironing larger perlers?

I've tried to iron multiple larger kandi pieces but every time I do the beads seem to come up from the peg board and then it kinda just falls apart so if I could get some help with that I would appreciate that! 1.gif

I iron them in pieces and glue together (i.e. if you make a cat, do the head/body/tail separately and glue), also I agree that ironing on both sides should keep them stronger

use the tape method it helps a lot once you figure out how to do it properly

i like to iron both sides of my perlers so they're less flimsy and harder to break :] i hope you find something that works for you!!<3

I would just recommend turning the heat on your iron up and then going really slowly. If you go too fast on projects like that the beads will melt to the baking paper before they melt to each other. Just be sure to put something heavy on it IMMEDIATELY if you don't want it to warp (tip: if you're okay with touching hot stuff, then I would recommend turning the pearler to the un-ironed side before putting something heavy on it, it doesn't warp as much that way)

you could try the tape method ! [where you put strips of tape along the perlers, flip it upside down, taking it off the board and leaving it on the tape, and then iron]

make in sections, then iron them together on the edges
