how should i cut my hair

so i want to do something with it, i cant dye it tho.
My hair is going to be cut to slightly above shoulder length and i dont want it too much shorter than that. Any ideas on what i should do?

I wanted to get curtian bangs but my mom says they look bad on everyone. Are they any tips to convince her to let me get them?

@Caitlynn: thanks for the idea! i think im going to go with whispy bangs with face framing pieces on the sides that are shorter than the rest of my hair but longer than the bangs if that makes sense

Maybe dont say "bangs" just say face framing pieces, it basically means like long bangs
