How can I keep my rows straight on peyote stitched kandi?

Everytime I try to make a plat peyote stitch, it always goes off to the left/right. It really irritates me and it makes my kandi look unprofessional.

Also I see youre starting in the middle (as you should with most peyotes) if you work on the other side as well it should even out.

I use fishing line for masks/peyote stitches. I'll try to tighten up the rows more and see if that works. Thanks!(:

I think its a tautness problem, skeleton might not be tight enough and all other rows need to be proper tautness as well.

the problem might be that your not making the skeleton tight enough. it could also be the type of string your using.
