I just got STARTLED -story-

Let me tell you a tale.

And I'd love to hear a story as well if you want to share about an irrational fear that you may have.

<> (scary kind of not really. It scared me but was nothing)

I just ran away screaming from something. Like irrational screaming and panic.

I have a giant fear of people looking at me through windows at night. So I need the blinds closed. Usually I don't ever have blinds open. But today was nice. And I needed light for crafts. I forgot to close them before sundown. I sleep in the living room often. I was getting ready for wed and cleaning up. I got uncomfortable with the windows so I went to go close the curtains. We do not have blinds in there yet. I close first curtain with no issues and go to the second. I am completely uncomfortable with closing the curtains but I do it quick because I get nervous.

SOMETHING HIT THE WINDOW RIGHT AFTER I CLOSED IT AND IT SENT ME RUNNING AND SCREAMING.

I ran to my older brothers room with his dogs this is after a good 6 horror movie worthy screams of panic. I also locked all the doors as I ran.

My partner and my brother were completely confused. They checked and nothing was out there and it'd be nearly impossible for anyone to get in the backyard without making a crap ton of noise. The dogs would of known. So I say crying in my brothers bed hugging his dogs inconsolable.

I'm now laying in my 5 year olds bottom bunk bed with a blanket making a cave so I can feel safe. With one of my brothers dogs in the bed.

Back story on the fear. My older brother did this to me. He one day stood outside the window of my laundry room as teens. And stood bug eyed pushed against the window until I noticed and I ran straight into the dryer screaming.

Ten years later. This
