what are kins how do they work ive looked it up and i dont understand still explain it to me like im 5 /gen

Hi!! Someone’s who a fictionkin here, kin/kinning is a belief for when you form a deep/personal/spiritual bond to certain things such as animals, fictional characters (which is what I am, a fictionkin), or anything else like dolls or voids just to name a few!! I would highly recommend researching a bit more about this entire topic or ask anyone you know who’s a kin! I hope that can help ^^

I believe the kin you are thinking about is just people relating to a character. In reality that isn't kinning, the word was just taken. Kinning realling is the belief that you were/are something or have a genuine spiritual connection to something. It isn't something that can be chosen. Research Otherkin and Therians for more info
