DNI’s go both ways

I don’t talk here too much (partially due to how hostile people seem towards each other), but I think a lot of you guys need to know that if you don’t want someone interacting with you, don’t comment on their threads or reply to their comments. Just block & move on with your life, there’s no point in wasting your time trying to argue with strangers on the internet when you likely won’t be able to change their mind. It’s also pretty hypocritical to say you don’t want someone interacting with you after you interacted first. I see this happen mainly with dsmp fans/antis, but it happens with so many other fandoms and groups as well. I’m not a dsmp fan but I interact with people in the fandom regularly, and I can safely say that a comment from someone online saying something along the lines of “you’re gross for supporting those people” isn’t going to suddenly make them stop being interested in it, y’know? Trust me, there are so many people I would love to try and change the opinions of but it’s just not productive to go about that by singling them out and telling them why they are wrong.

@Meowdy_Pickles: PLEASE elaborate. Who has done what? As a dsmp fan who always does a lot of research on people before supporting them, I've learned many things are usually rumors. I'm not trying to sound rude but we get an unnecessary amount of hate and a lot of people will say 'Well so and so did [insert bad thing here]' and they never actually did said thing. -Karl

Also before anyone comments it, yes I do understand that some people on the dsmp have done bad stuff in the past & I think they should be held accountable for that. However, holding a content creator accountable doesn’t mean bothering fans of said creator or spreading blatant misinformation. (I’m willing to elaborate on this a bit more if you want, just be respectful)
