opinions on monster?(the drink)

The hot takes thing reminded me I wanted to ask this.

a notoriously misogynistic/sexist and huge company being such a mascot for a generally anti-misogyny, sexism, and consumerism culture just seems weird to me. Not only are there less harmful energy drink companies, but there are also less harmful and cheaper energy drink companies.

it makes me wonder if people in the alt subculture just like it cause of the pretty colors of the tabs and cans

-someone in the "alt" community

(also not saying you're bad for drink it obvi, just confused)

@gummilud: Well, companies are made up of humans so .v. Y'know, just my opinion and stuffz '^^ I get that question, what I'd say though is not every subculture is against companies and stuff. As a scene kid, we really don't care about that kind of stuff or just politics and the economy period (No, I'm not talking about TikTok scene kids btw, lol. A lot of them are posers so when I talk about scene kids I mean the scene adults on TikTok, the scene kids of the 2000s, and the scene kids on SpaceHey) it's not a part of our subculture (And to an extent emos too), you can tell with how much we get our stuff from Hot Topic XDD I could get what your saying for punks since that ones all about how capitalism is evil but not every subculture believes that, y'know? I know this is messy, I hope it still makes sense?

@xXJustJoking8P: im not asking for a mass cancelation, and I even if i did believe in forgiving a company like it was a human(companies aren't your friend, they aren't people) it still doesn't explain why a culture so against consumerism loves the shit

It happened in 2018 so I'm just hoping changes have been made. At the very least, the executive who sent all those nasty texts has been fired and the guy who assaulted his girlfriend was jailed, idk about everyone else though cuz I just stopped reading after that- A large part of my religion is forgiveness and seeing everyone as human no matter how horrible of shit they've done, so I'd rather not hold a grudge against the company, I just hope that they have improved or at least will improve because the behavior I saw in those articles was very unacceptable, assault is never ok imo.
The drink still tastes bomb to me though and other energy drinks just taste really eh to me- Not to mention a mass cancellation of Monster energy in alternative fashion would be near impossible to do, everyone loves the drink-

real alt people don't care, its the posers who are in it for the aesthetic that drink the soda for the aesthetic

to clarify I'm not saying if you drink monster you're a poser
