tics??

Deleted Account 4/5/2022 09:03 am 698

so for the past couple of months i've started doing this weird body movements, i'll randomly twitch and move my head all weird. sometimes when they get really bad, then i'll make these weird noises. but it never happens in class it only happens at my house. but the weird twitchy things still happen in class

are those some sort of tics? i can't control them and don't know when they happen. they've been getting worse and my friends keep tellling me to see a doctor but i don't know how willing my parents will be to take me to one

@CybrBoy: yeah i didn't think that it was tourettes. i've also drink water daily so i don't think its that

i'm assuming it might have something to-do with adhd/anxiety, but i haven't been diagnosed with either condition so even if it was i would still need to get it checked out

I get weird chills or head twitches all the time and apparently they're from being autistic

Stuff like that can stem from many things

uh nobody here can say anything abt that lmao, i mean it could be but tourette's and stuff like that r fucking rare, so its most likely a ocd/adhd thing, or just an anxiety thing. or if your really dehydrated like haven't drank anything in days it could be that. I mean its an uncontrollable body movement so its classified as a tic but that doesn't mean you have like condition

@branarbi: Oh!!! i was talking abt how muscle spasms are typically caused by something and can be fixed while tics cant!! gud to know that 2 tho!!!!!

@xXToasted_treasureXx: tics r pretty much involuntary muscle spasms/movements. as other's have said, you don't need a tic disorder to have tics. i (and many others) have tics due to autism or ADHD.

I vote no, I've done that but for all my life and i wasn't dianosed with anything. And since they recently started happening they are probably muscles spasms like i have, they can prolly be fixed for ya since they are pretty new though. But do see someone!! whether they are tics or muscles spasms its best to make sure!! and i dont know much abt tics in general so take what i said with a grain of salt and im sorry if i got any info wrong! confused But always consult a pro abt this kinda stuff cheer

involuntary movements are categorized as tics, though i wouldn't go around saying it's a tic disorder. i tic sometimes because of my anxiety and adhd but it's not a disorder. you should mention it to your doctor.
