I Am making bracelets to sell at my moms work. They are not kandi, but I use the same stitches (Multi, peyote, ladder....ect) BUT I use Seed beads. I posted a picture of one on Instagram and a kandikid said that selling would get me a lot of hate. I Don't think its that bad because im making them with tiny Seed beads..... IDK WHAT TO DO! WHAT DO YOU THINK?????

professional jewelry places use the stitches all the time to make stuff. do you know how many places i saw selling x-base pearl bracelets. if it's not made with pony beads and not made with the same moral principles as kandi, then it's not kandi

anyone can make a beaded project but you decide what is kandi. if it wasnt meant to be kandi than it's a beaded project and you won't get any hate for that

its just beaded jewelry then. And in general. Dont worry about! other people can think whatever they want, aslong as its good by you, youre fine oh go on <3

I wouldn't think it'd be kandi either since you don't make them to be kandi. I make seed bead bracelets and things too with the stitches and on a bead loom. Every now and then, I sell those bracelets myself. For me I don't consider it kandi since I didn't make it special for someone for give it to a person because I want to be friendly. I consider it jewelry when I sell some of my bracelets. I understand your point. To boot square stitch, peyote stitch, as well as other methods have long been around before kandi ever was. I myself made jewelry long before I made kandi and there's a difference.

If you don't consider it kandi, then I don't. Personally, I'm against selling kandi, but just because you're using the same stitches(which can be used in many other crafts other than beaded creations) doesn't make it kandi. Don't worry about it anyways! Just do what you want to do, and forget all the haters!

If you don't consider it kandi then you should be able to sell them. But in my opinion i wouldn't hate anybody for just selling regular bracelets, but it's your decision.I make bracelets for the people at my moms job too, but i don't consider it kandi i consider it key chains and regular bracelets.I wouldn't refer to it as kandi though. Hope that helped some....atleast.
