Kids at school wanting kandi...

Sooooo once I started wearing kandi to school, EVERYONE has been wanting some. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally open to introducing new people into the rave/kandi/colorful stuff but I don't know if I should continue making it for them because I don't think they understand the whole "Plur" thing and the meaning behind kandi, besides it being just cool and colorful bracelets. Please help, I'd really appreciate it!!!!:3 Thanks so much! ^-^

i feel you. but they don't need to learn the plur thing. Just tell them kandi is really easy and really fun. Tell them to go to this website.

That's exactly what I think too. And people tell me that they'll pay me for it and I say no if you want one, I'll just make it for you and then EVERYONE comes to me and asks for something >w< Like I don't want to be rude either and tell them to stop but I also don't want them to take kandi for granted.

Tell them to go to this website, stop making them kandis and tell them to watch the vidoes and crap and learn how to make it on their own. but say it nicely aand tell them they'll like the kandi more if they make it themselves.

I usually don't give out kandi to people at my school because they don't care about the meaning of plur and they don't appreciate what i give them at all. I do give some kandi to friends and have even been teaching them how to make it and about plur and they appreciate it a lot more then other random people that i don't really knowhappy

I made kandi for some people at school. Before i gave it to them, I explained PLUR(R) to them but they didn't listen. A few weeks later, I saw them selling the kandi I made them in the hallways AND online! So now I don't make it for every one else. Teach them about PLUR(R) and the meaning behind it. Maybe that could help! Rainbow

A few snooty girls at my school have asked for kandi, and while I've tried to explain to them whats its about, they just dont care. It's not worth it in the long run, give kandi to people that will appreciate the meaning. happy

"Radio": Whenever I'm at camp or a convention- I explain a little bit about what it is and why I wear it before I give someone a piece. Try that? Thank you so much! I'll definitely have to try that c:

Teach them about PLUR(R) as best as you can. Explain what kandi means(especially what it means to YOU). That's all you can really do. Just let them know that you have spend your hard work and time making the kandi, so each piece is special. I know this isn't very helpufl, but when handling kandi muggles there isn't much to do besides choosing who you want to give your kandi too, and who you decide to teach. Good luck! I hope everything turns out for the best!

Making kandi for everyone will in the exhaust you and to have some people not appreciate the thought and care in the kandi you made for them. Give out kandi on your terms. It makes your kandi even more special when you are selective with whom you give it to and you won't to beading your fingers to the bone. I hope this helps out some.
