TW: Ableism and Internelized Ableism, Bad Spelling

i have noticed something about me. i haven't called myself autistic. or even said i had autism.

and when i would try i would delete it and just call myself neurodivergent.

is this internelized ableism?

same i try to hide my dopamine issues illness because saying the name makes me feel like im just begging for attention and overreacting even tho im diagnosed

I have seen a lot of ppl say they do this due to internalized ableism so it's a possibility :<

I used to do this too, internalized ableism is confuzzling and hard 2 deal with kao sick

theres a chance it is because of media usually saying that autism is 'bad' or 'undesirable', or just demonizing it . while im not autistic myself i cannot help personally, but i feel like there should be autistic creators out there that make content about this and how to help lose that mindset? :-)
