ive been working on this kandi for like forever and my string snapped and it wont tie again and i don't want to have to start all over D,=

i do two squares knots then if i have superglue i superglue it >__<

i just do a basic square knot and then tie it again a bunch until it seems secure enough

@genimccleni: it usually takes a few minutes, so maybe wait at least like 5 minutes before trying it on ^___^

i hold both ends together and do a figure 8 knot [link safe]. i do it for all my beading projects, not just kandi, when you pull it tight from every end it holds really well HOWEVER it depends on the type of cord youre using. i mainly use thin elastic cord and this sewing string similar to fishing line and it works well on those but on more slippery cords it doesnt hold well. try it out on a scrap piece of the cord you use and see if it works
