telling my friends im part of a system?

so i tried to make this thread 2 minutes ago but it all got deleted so im gonna make it short. i have this friend, asher, who has been questioning why we talk with a different voice or act like a completely different person so.. im debating on telling him because i do trust him, but how do i go about it?

i think if you educate him a bit if he doesnt understand that would also help like how every system is different and you can also tell him on what he can do to support you along with what he cant mention (like triggers). or you can put a whole bunch of info on a slide or doc and send it to him or show it to him in person in case he has questions. hope this helps -blitzo

they most likely won't have a negative reaction so the next time they ask just be like "well i'm actually a system" or something like that

ik it's scary but people r usually pretty nice abt it

As a system whos out to almost everyone we know, we've had almost no negative reactions to telling folks. obviously it varies on the type of people you associate yourself with and the area you're in, but maybe start by asking if they know what a system is in the first place! A lot more people know than I was expecting. if they dont know, explain it with facts and maybe bring an article to back yourself up!

idk cus i would never tell any 1 but u sound like u should i would explain did in youre best words then lead them to a article or website you proof read

you should, especially if you have known them for a long time, it was really scary telling my friends I had schizophrenia and delusions but it went really well! I think it would definitely be better for your guy's relationship, so go for it, I believe in you!
