has anyone here played any of the pokemon games?? what was your first starter? what type do you prefer to battle with?

my first starter was typhlosion and im a fire type user a lot of the time

my first starter was squirtle, but i usually pick the grass type starter for most of the games! i tend to have a lot of flying types for some reason lmao

I dont see many people talking about pokemon pearl, like the original version but I used to play it all the time and I got stuck on this one place, but one time I revisited it and got, unstuck, I think. I cant find the ds that I had the copy on but once I do I'm gonna try to play more.

now I play pokemon go because I honestly like the thing of the farther you go, the more pokemon that are around, and that if you go on at certain times, more of a type or certain pokemon will appear, like that one eevee event that got me 3 shiny eeveelutions (sylveon, vaporeon, and umbreon respectively.)

also my strongest pokemon in pokemon go are named after cars, my porygon is named BMW for example

the first game i owned was pokemon moon, so my first starter was litten (i wouldve picked popplio initially, but there was a cat so i felt obligated to pick it) unless you count squirtle and bulbasaur being the first starter pokemon i had in my first tcg deck, which is how i was introduced to the series! i dont tend to go with this in game for the sake of balance, but my favorite types are psychic, water, grass, and bug!
