I was just hoping to find some other people to talk to about any old fashion with.
I miss the look of a wealthy person's garments looking handmade and extravagant compared to the modern wealthy wardrobe. Modern rich wardrobes are not only so boring and bland but just sad to look at. I do like some higher-end fashion items but they obviously aren't bought for how good they look, it's simply a brand with a very large price tag. If I had the kind of money today's wealthy people do, why on earth would I be buying another cotton t-shirt with an ugly logo on it? I could be spending the money on hand-made gowns and funding somebody directly for their craft instead of feeding more money to these CEO's while their employees suffer. If I was a wealthy person, I would want to look expensive the way wealthy people used to compare to having to tell people my t-shirt with a printed logo was $650. In my opinion, it's so harmful to our mentality that brand = price instead of quality, time. detail, effort = price.
Anyone else?
