@Mama_WeAllGo2Hell: if you can do your job comfortably and safely it's appropriate clothing for your job. professionalism is stupid (this isn't exactly the same thing when your job actually REQUIRES you to wear certain kinds of clothing to do your job safely, such as wearing hairnets and gloves when you work with food. this is to make sure that your food is sanitary, and this makes sense.)

@Mama_WeAllGo2Hell: more so job dress codes that only allow you to wear These Specific Pants or These Specific Shirts with no leeway even with something that looks similar but isn’t the same material (sensory issues

random question do you have a job and does it have a dress code? also does your school have one regarding hair

check, and if not, go from there. (side note dress codes are dumb and usually ableist)

I know this is long dead but if people need help get shortish (like a bit over your shoulder if fine if you need long hair cause rules as long as your hair extensions are long) with layers and curtain bangs you can comb them over and pin them (use a bobby pin your hair colour and pin them just below your eye) to make scene bangs and you can add hair extensions to the bottom of your hair to make it longer and more coloured. It looks like a normal hair cut and you don't have to dye it or anything. I also have wavy hair I tease it sometimes but it looks fine just leting it be especially cause it's fluffy so it's already got that dimension.
