Going to a con 2morrow. any advice?

im bringin $ for stuff to buy and im wearing a cosplay buuuuuuut any tips?

comfy shoes!!! bring painkillrs if ur feet/back get tired easily. be careful with older men n if they ask to take a pic just take it n rush off D: make sure y have sum1 with y at all times!! uhhh also practice basic con etiquette; don’t run in front of pictures, be polite, don’t ask for a pic when sum1 is clearly busy,,, bring water if y can bc water gets marked up a lot!!! bring a fan mayb depending on the weather n STAY HYDRATED!!! agh!! so many ppl get dehydrated at cons > but most importantly have fun!!! it’s gonna be fun i bet !!

also a personal advice i have is if y see smth u rly rly want just buy it!! who knows if you’ll see it again? i def regret not buying sum things at my cons

bring comfy shoes, drink water, dont forget to eat! shits expensive so be careful

ok someone already said this but bring definitely bring snacks and water. this might not be that big of an issue for smaller cons but at my first con the wait to get your passes or whatever was over 3 hours and i think someone fainted sooo.. i rlly recommend bringing those and maybe a small fan (again, this probably isnt that big on an issue for smaller cons but i would still do it in case u get hungry/thirsty)

Pack a con bag! use a crossbody so you dont have to worry about anything getting stolen! I took this off of a website but here's what you should put in it:

Photo ID (if you have one)
Cash (But not ALL your cash)
Credit/ATM Card* (if you have one)
Car/House/Room Keys
Cell Phone
Cell Phone charger/backup battery
Convention Schedule
Snacks
Mints/Gum
Camera & accessories

Umbrella/poncho
Your favorite card game (for lines)
Water bottle
Prescription medication
Painkillers
Feminine Hygiene Products
Travel-size deodorant
Chapstick
Hand sanitizer
Wet Ones/Wipes
Tissues
Pen, Pencil, Sharpie

For cosplayers:

Makeup for touch-ups
Mini sewing kit
E6000/superglue
Stick-on velcro, top-stick or double sided tape
Oil absorbing sheets that won’t disturb makeup
Small towel
Extra socks/underclothes
Flip flops**

a lot of this depends on if you're old enough to have one, so a lot of this is subjective. Hope it helps tho!
