Does anyone else remember their first special interest?

mine was cats (the animal, not the musical). I loved cats soooo much when I was little, and I still love them a lot now!! They’re not a main hyperfixation anymore, but I will never fail to infodump about cats when given the chance

pokemon or monster high but I believe pokemon was first

It was honestly extremely unhealthy and it developed into creepy pastas and fnaf (not good for a 5 year old)

But like I was addicted, anything with a pokemon on it I wanted. My poor mother and family lol

Cringe culture is dead but younger me was the exception

@CoNN13Killz: idk, for me i felt a more genuine connection to the music i was listening too since i'd research their behind the scenes + processes of making music, it's what influenced me to be a multi-instrumentalist and mess around with recording my own stuff. oh and ppl like sufjan stevens, who /really/ get into learning tons of new instruments (would not suggest idolizing any musicians, more like i saw them as an example of "well if they can do it so can i" kind of thing) :]
