Social anxiety

ok so, i have social anxiety, and i know the way to fix it is to go out and meet new people and challenge your fears and stuff. But its not as easy as it sounds. Does anyone know any way to gain motivation or courage? I wanna be myself again. Thanks! 513b55c735fb9_kao_smile.gif

personally i ease myself into situations VERY slowly, and it seems to work okay for me.

for example: I really wanted to go to my school's GSA, so at first i'd literally just force myself to walk past the room it was being held in, then after doing that several times i managed to force myself to attend a meeting, i didn't talk to anyone until i'd been to like 3 meetings but eventually i managed to be able to chat with people there!

ik this wont work for all social things you might want to do, but it's the only help i can offer since i still struggle a lot with my own social anxiety.

uh i am like a kinda outgoing person and i just like try not to think too hard about it i mean im a idiot bt maybe that will work 4 u
