@whatupmayz: i apologize in advance for this extrlong explanation:

i got my dads shoes and measured around them +sketched out my designs and prepared all of the materials:] i started with the part that goes around the foot(side piece or sumn idk) and when that was done and i was happy with how it looked and fit around the shoe i made the middle bit(?)

repeated that for the other shoe and then i measured+made lines for where to cut! i just left 1cm of fabric:]
when the fabric was gone i started sewing the kandi onto the remaining fabric bits, i used embroidery thread and went back and fourth around the shoe to make sure that it was as secured as i could make it-

i would definitely not recommend sewing things to shoes by hand, it can give you blisters and just hurt for a while so yea, don’t do it:<

but yea, after the sewing i was pretty much done! i asked a friend if they wanted to make some logo for the sides and he did so those are epic decorations!! i just bought new shoelaces so i am completely done with the shoes for now:]
