Fuse beads, aka perler beads, Hama beads, are a special kind of bead that you melt together using an iron. They are smaller than pony beads, and making them doesn't normally involve any string. You just place the beads onto a pegboard, place special paper over the top, and iron them.

I made a huge My Little pony epic cuff ( you can borrow the idea, but dont coppy exactly) and I enjoy making kandi in themes, like spiderman, hello kitty, and invader zim so that I have groups of kandi. I do this so that i can have particular kandi for particular outfits.

I like to put little figurines on mine. Like Moshi Monsters, My Little Pony, etc. You can also put chrams, legos, erasers, small toys at thrift stores, and you can also get party bags at like Party Dollar/Party City/Wal-Mart [most places with party sections] they have all kinds of toys in a decent size bag.

the craft store Michael's sells mini pony beads in individual bags. They don't cost that much and one small bag has enough beads to make lots of cuffs with solid background colors. The only thing is, different michael's sell different color selections so u may have to visit 2 or 3 to find the right ones.

In my opinion, no. Kandi is made with pony beads not perler beads.... You can put the perler bead creations on kandi or make a cuff out of perler beads and then I would say it is kandi o.O I think

I agree. I don't think they count as kandi unless you make kandi jewelry out of them or put them on jewelry. But I think of them as being related to kandi since they go well with kandi and the beads look similar to pony beads (colorful). That's part of the reason I have perler patterns and photos on the site.

6 months ago mine only had white, black and red pony beads packs. And the buckets of mini and regular. They keep adding more and more, so it's better than it once was.
