why are people against xenogenders?

i've seen a few people really hating on xenogenders, and i don't really understand why? i know that there are some xenogenders that aren't valid like dreamgender (based on minecraft youtuber) and stuff like that, but i don't really understand why so many people hate on them.


thoughts?

aaaa I kinda got sad for a minute because I use many xenogenders, and dreamgender is one but not like based off the minecraft youtuber, based off like actually dreams n stuff

n I really dont get it! xenogenders r so cute and helpful and valid!!!

@burnticecubes: yeah!!! I think I might identify as some xenogenders and when I was doing research I saw so many people saying it mocked the lgbtq+ community


While I understand some xenogenders were made as jokes or satire most of them are genuine and it makes me so sad people think all xenogenders are jokes because of the joke xenogenders sad

I use funkygender and go my boing/boingself prns but I’m pretty sure the only ones that are harmful are ones that use serious topics like BLM or appropriate languages like “bakagender” or something. Gladly I haven’t seen any but they could be put there

otherwise, theyve jus gained a rly bad rep esp in mainstream media theyre jus kinda dunked on, yeah sometimes theyre confusing sometimes but jus leave the kids alone bro theyre jus livin their lives shrug

my friend uses a xenogender, they use fleuric/floragender and im totally fine with this, but they told some other kids i our class yk and they all were like "so ur a plant lol" and i was mega disappointed
