hey! i would like to begin practicing witchcraft, do you guys have any tips?

also, what crystals should i give my gf for valentines day? i was thinking about rose quartz but idk

edit: whats your opinions on crystal chocolate boxes (4 valentines day)

rose quartz r perfect for valentines day !! etsy is super cool for witch supplies like incense crystals essential oils candles etc

5 below will b ur best friend, they have all sorts of incense supplies n crystals

also those mini gift shops at malls usually have cystals

raid the wegmans herb aisle too

OH and the dollar store always has like jars, candles, that stuff, sometimes herbs but usually basic stuff like rosemary or thyme

walking in the woods is good too, to find moss, bones, cool rocks, different types of plants/flowers, just only take what u need tho dont wanna upset Mother Nature

I would researh the basics like, sigils, alchemy, crystals, runes, tarot, herbs, flowers, colors, seasons, moon phases, and some astrology. I know this is a lot but this really if the basis of most witchcraft. (color and herbs vary by area of study) Deitys can be good but i would start with ancestors and spirits first and build up to them. (also each deity has their own unique personality and preference)

as for what crystals to get your girlfriend, get her ones that will help in the areas she complains about struggling in.

edit: if u can idetify herbs and crystals in your area you can get them for free lol

rose quartz is a really good option! I also recommend anything rose or cinnamon-y, like incense

rose quartz would be perfect! it is a crystal of love :] lapis is also a good option. Chocolate boxes are really cute! I filled an emty chocolate box with crystals for my partner to open :] if you know how to make a spell jar id reccomend adding that too!
