What easily sends you into a sensory overload? I'm constantly finding things that trigger them so easily and I can't stand it but i cant do anything about it most of the time

most of the the things that r triggers for me are like, sound so school n music tend to be big ones

School doesn't bother me until I actually realize how loud it is, which either happens in math or at lunch so I hate those times.

Nd my dad played Better man by Clint black, which usually I'm okay w but he plays his music from youtube, n he was playing the official video and the first like 30 seconds were so bad all those noises were so loud n came put of no where and i cant take it aaa help

Loud noises and too many bodies in one place is literal hell.

(Rant/storytime?)

My middle school had these "Pep Rallies" where they just had kids scream for 30mins each month for 3 years and I had to fake breakdowns to get out of em. I like to use this as a talking point as to why schools don't know things hate special needs bc unless u had an IEP or something you were forced to go to em. (I don't have one bc i aint really diagnosed with anything rn) (idk why this was necessary...)

@jUggal0_pUppY: I'm so sorry you had to do that sad I either put my hands over my ears and wait for ppl to quiet down, or I ask to leave but it's not always an option, but it's like they dont realize that even kids without what they consider special needs can be sensitive to certain things

i think the things that bother me the most are scratchy fabrics and loud places with lots of people? also bright lights. i have to deal with loud crowded places and bright lights alot bc my parents drag me to places like that alot, also my dad plays really loud music and talks loudly all the time and that makes me overstimulated too.

i wish i could block out all the loud noises and stuff but the ear defenders i have dont work bc theyre for shooting ranges and only block out stuff like gunshots and extremely loud stuff but not most of the noises that bother me bc theyre not loud enough for the headphones to block out. kao cry

my current phone case when my hands are extra dry, it’s made of silicone and the feeling is so bad sad Also caramelized onions when the chunks are big enough to feel in your mouth, styrofoam and the sound it makes (egg cartons are one of my worst enemies because of this), and being touched. I don’t like being touched unexpectedly in general or by people I don’t know, but it’s even worse when it’s in a crowded place like the bus or cafeteria and everyone is bumping into each other and people’s backpacks keep hitting you
