Story time guys! Tell me your craziest experience out in public in your full outfit :00 what were you wearing? Was it a karen? Christian? Crackhead joe down the street?

I wear a mix between punk and goth, all I get is staff following me around in stores and staredown battles with karens.

ok, so i was at the mall visiting santa (my parents force me to go and see this random guy dressed up as a mythical guy) and i was wearing kandi on like, every limb. 'santa' looked at me up and down and said "you look....interesting..? LIKE?? i just kinda laughed it off and did the "white person smile" and when it came time for him to do his "what do you want for christmas [insert gender]" but he was like "you want beads, right?" like...? its not the worst but it was the first time i was mistreated (outside my family) for my style

not as fun, but once in school i was pretty much 100% punked up and one of the "popular" boys asked where i got my docs from..
i couldnt rlly tell if he was trying to mock me or not LMFAO
other than that one encounter i usually just get stares nd whispers

In go to a school where it a a majority of white, straight,cis, homophobes. so i get slandered and stared at alot, and so do my friends. But at least I havent gotten hate crimed at this school!

i was in the middle of a creek, sitting on a rock just reading and some girls were walking by and one of them started either recording or taking a photo of me! as soon as i looked at them they started running so chased after them and made them delete it and kinda lectured them on taking photos of other people without permission. they were like 9 so idk. maybe i was a bit mean, but i dont want them to do that to anyone else

I went to the gas station in a maid dress and cat ears and another alt kid just happened to be in the same store, staring at me and then eventually saying they liked my outfit.
i was really worried they were a cringe purist and were gonna call me fake lol

tbh i haven't had a lot of interaction with my style other than passive-aggressive comments and stares with the occasional complement. But I ADORE being stared at by little kids it makes my day. One girl was amazed by my pink hair and called me a fairy and another at the pool said I must be a mermaid. One girl at the dentist was just staring at me. The list goes on and on and I love it.

i was waiting for the bus with my ex and there was people around and he just randomly told me i looked like i came from party city. felt embarrassed at the time but now i take it as a compliment!!
