When did you start making kandi ? What was the first piece you made?

I started about three months ago and the first thing i made was a single with the trans pride colors and a heart bead in the middle I sadly can't wear it tho because It's made poorly and I don't want it to break.

Edit: Thanks for all the replies, I’ve had so much fun reading about your first kandi experiences !!!

i technically started when i was around 5/6, but i only really got into it around a year ago!!!! my first single was a rainbow with star and pony beads, while my first cuff was a pink and purple flower cuff w yellow beads in the middle !!!!

I technically started a couple of months ago but ive made kandi before that kinda if before like getting into kandi starts then it was one of those beaded pet kit things if not it was a single and it was green and said sprite and i think after i made a flower cuff

I think October 2020? I cut it for scraps but I remember I made 4 rainbow singles and wore them together like a cuff. I also didn't have pony beads so I had to use round, scented ones.

I started making kandi around 2020 summer!! I'm not exactly sure when but I think about July! My first kandi was a bi pride flag

omg how do people make cuffs as their first kandi.... i made my first one abt 6 months ago and it was a single, purple and yellow with one of my kins names on it hehe!! (dunno if it even counts as kandi bc i didnt have pony beads yet but i was trying my best yknow)
