guest comments??

so um what do we do if a guest comments on one of our threads and we needa tell them sum,,.....
like we cant reply or msg them anything bc theyre a guest so like 20.gif(((((((( what do we do if its important

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

Sometimes people include an email address. I've just changed it so that their email address will show on your new comments page. Click onto Comments from your User Menu in the sidebar and see if they included an email.

Not everyone does though, and not all of the email addresses are valid. That's just how it is and has to be, for privacy reasons. We can't force everyone to make an account nor disclose an email address.

If there's no email address, all you can do is post on the thread and hope that they see it.
