No with the Cosplay anything that would Distract the other students from paying attention is frowned upon unless its Halloween

Anime shirts and kandicuffs and such is fine but not the cosplay also most schools have a dress code to some degree so shorts and skirts have to go past your fingers when your hands are by your side, nothing sexual or gory visual wise with the anime shirts, School is about learning its not a fashion show

ok im gonna be a little harsh but the truth is chances are you're going to get made fun of, middle schoolers suck so bad and people will just tell you to ignore them and be yourself but that can be really hard when you're at a stage in your life where peer approval matters so much, that being said if you can get yourself a few really good friends with similar interests to you it'll make things a lot easier and just keep in mind that if kids are bullying you for being swag its probably just because they're either too scared to showcase their interests and are taking that out on you or because they're boring and cant process how cool you are, or maybe they're just dicks. either way I'm here if you need to talk and I hope that your able to dress how you feel most comfortableanimal05animal05

The best advice I can give and simply stop caring about them. I know it's annoying to hear "just stop lol" but realistically, what kind of power do they hold over you? Socially they may be able to harass or annoy you, but the happiness you'll get from diving into your interests 100% and the confidence you can gain from being unashamed to like things is so much stronger than any anxiety other people's judgement might give you, and let it be known this is coming from someone who was in the exact same situation as you. I was terrified to wear the things I liked for fear of judgement and looking weird, but you really just have to go all in. Besides, if you openly express yourself and show off what you like, it's very likely that you'll be able to more easily find friends who also like that thing. I have a little MHA backpack that I use as a purse and I cannot tell you how many CVS cashiers I've bonded with over it. I've got the demonia damned-318s (look em up theyre fucken cool boots) and if I wanna wear those out I do not have time!!! To worry about what other people think about me. Besides, I get hella compliments, so wear the things you like!! Being happy with yourself and feeling good about how you look is so much fun.

However, if you're in genuine danger of like. Physical harm, be careful. I don't know where you live or what your community is like so if you're in actual danger please be careful, though I highly HIGHLY doubt anyone will do more than jeer at you for an anime shirt

@ariesinattentiv: Also, with the cosplay bc I forgot about that, I'd say keep it to normal clothes cosplays like lucky star characters for example. if theres a lot of accessories i would suggest leaving them home and just go completely no wig. stuff like that can be a real hassle and its annoying to deal with it in the middle of class so for the sake of comfort and having it not be a huge disruption to yourself, leave them home

maybe be a little cautious, keep it simple. shirts should be fine but if you're so worried about it bring a jacket to cover it. I went to an extremely big school where the people just dont give a fuck- Kandi and Makeup on the other hand should be perfectly fine happy
