what are your controversial bead opinions?

mine is that i don't like pearlescent beads. sometimes they're ok but for the most part i find them kind of tacky & unpleasant to look at, and much prefer a regular opaque bead—or, if we're getting shiny with it, a nice iridescent/AB.

also, heart beads with horizontal holes should be the norm! i don't know why they are so hard to find... bless beadtin.com for carrying them.

Matte beads are just an abomination I used them early when I made kandi but no more, I absolutely hate the texture

I prefer matte beads to shiny ones. I find that the shiny ones often have imperfections and scratchy bits that make them really uncomfortable to wear, and as an autistic person I cant deal with that feeling on my skin. That's why I always make X-bases out of matte beads, then build up with shinies.

Pony beads commit a lot of crime and it's good that we confine them on string.

pearl beads are terribel. not perlesent i mean the ones rhat are meant to look like pearlz they are alwayz either scratched up and i have to manually go through the bag and find a decent one OR the holez of them havent been made right and the hole has plastic convering it and the string dont fit threw And i have to take siccorz to fix it
