tell me about any religious beliefs you hold that you feel comfy saying!! it could be just what religion label you use (christian, muslim, atheist, pagon, etc!) or you could go more into detail about who you worship, what practices you do, etc!

me personally, i'm an omnist and polytheist ! I believe in any and all religions, and I worship every and any god or higher being there is. I'm trying to get more into things like sages, crystals, tarot, and other things similar! I'm also working on possibly having a few alters for the people I worship the most, I'm also looking into having personal relationships with certain gods : D!! I also attend church every now and then, and I participated in ramadan for a small bit !! I'm super new to religious practices besides christian practices so feel free to tell me any tips or anything idk :3

I dont label mine, but to put it simply i dont have one, but not in the same way as an athiest. I don’t believe there’s anything after death, but at the same time, I do. I basically dont believe a specific thing. Sometimes i feel like Christian beliefs are true, sometimes I agree with Judaism. Sometimes I agree with Atheism. Basically I choose not to make myself believe a specific thing and I just think that we’ll all find out when we get there, or if we don’t. Aaaa help Im so confused it’s hard to describe. Anyway as for my family we are Christian I forgot what kind but we go to a Baptist church on easter, mother’s day, and father’s day. (We aren’t baptist) I definitely however am not Catholic. I dont like the whole thing with Catechism and how women cant be popes or preachers. If someone is Catholic I’ll still respect them and their beliefs I just disagree.

Okok sorry that was so long

Sorry if I go on a tangent I'm just excited I get to talk about my religious beliefs cause normally ppl freak out when I do

I'm a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints (LDS/Mormon for short)! :] In my religion we believe pretty much what all Christians, Jews, Catholics, Evangelists, Baptists, Muslims, etc. believe that there's one god (In this thing we have called the 13 commandments it states this as well). We are told to respect others' religious beliefs and love thy neighbor! We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day (We get a whole lesson on its importance), and Father's Day (We get a whole lesson on its importance)! We get this thing called general conferences and we have lots of temples around the world, but in order to fully get into one you need a temple recommend. It's most common for children at the age of eight to be baptised and when babies are born they get blessings. We believe that there are three places you can go into heaven as well. We believe God, Christ, and the Holy Ghost are different people. We have these things called missions you go on when you are like 18 where you get to go around the world which is really cool (If you are above 18 then you can still get a mission, but you have to ask your bishop). We have four main books we use which are the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, the Holy Bible (Kings James version), and Doctrine and Covenants. We have bishops who are similar to popes in a way they are what run churches branches from the main one. We have this thing called Girls camp which is made for Young Women which is really fun and we also have camping trips, ski trips, since I'm in the Youth! We have a choir which is really cool that you can join. Oh, we also have this thing called baptism for the dead which is really cool (Pretty much you can baptize dead relatives so that they can get into heaven)! tbh jump

i'm a pagan and satanist.

i worship the earth and universe, but not as gods. i believe that there aren't really gods, but the ability of the earth to sustain and create life is the closest thing to "god" that there is. i believe in science as a truth as well, but that spirituality and science can co-exist without invalidating the other. i also do deity work, but as a way to honor what said deities represent rather than belief in their existence

. i'm very into spells, tarot, and crystals as well. I don't necessarily think that they have "powers," but using these things helps me guide my thoughts and intentions in a way that makes sense, and helps me feel calm and protected.

i also follow certain satanic principles of thought, called tenets:

- be as kind to all living things as possible within reason

- one's body is subject to one's will alone

- the ongoing pursuit of justice should prevail over law and institution

- freedom of others should be respected. to intentionally encroach on the freedom of others is to forgo one's own.

- the spirit of justice, compassion, and wisdom should prevail over the written word.

Vaguely Christianoid. Here is my best religion story (TW alcohol, violence, Andrew Lloyd Weber):

My Mom was still churchy when I was little. I did some Sunday school and stuff, which I found very annoying because they had us do stuff like copy Bible verses onto fake lined parchment paper, in pencil. I found this both aesthetically and historically annoying, because I was That Kid. Anyway, Mom liked us to know about God and stuff, but she'd seen some real nastiness in her life and was absolutely opposed to using religion to frighten small children. So I somehow got to be quite old without learning the story of the Crucifixion. Easter was the day that Mom made Dad hide eggs in the backyard and then made me look for them, something neither Dad nor I enjoyed. Since the golf course was closed for the holiday, Dad would often be mildly hammered by egg hunting time, forget where at least one egg was, and no one would find it until the first lawn mowing of spring, when it went off like a bomb.

One year, a road company of Jesus Christ Superstar came to town, which was a huge deal because back then we'd be lucky to get, like, Victor Borge. Somehow Mom and my big sister and I ended up going. I had never seen a real play before, so I was excited. We had nosebleed seats but it was still great. Except. I had absolutely no idea that they were going to do that to poor Jesus.

Mom and Kim: THAT WAS GREAT!

Me: O_O Holy bleeping bleeeeeeeep. shock

im a practicing hellenic (greek gods/godesses), but i grew up with a catholic mom and ex-catholic dad so that was super interesting and adding the bible made me super interested in the actual facts/history

i actually study world religions for fun, im really into ethics, morality, labels, (mis)translations, just the logistics and historical contexts of stuff

i know alot about Islam, Judaism, and Christianity (all branches) because i've written essays about the integration of abrahamic religions

i also know alot about the history of religion in culture and the influences of growing up religious/practicing

I'm Catholic... I was only baptized and confirmed a couple years ago though, and I'm still trying my best to learn the faith.

My parents also belong to abrahamic religions, but they're stereotypical alt-rights and my dad's a creationalist; it makes me really sad. Unfortunately they tried to raise me that way too and it took me a long time to get over the internalized nonsense that they pounded into me sad

I've got no problem with lgbtq+ and am in fact part of the community, here's something that explains my reason pretty well
