hi, I've been making kandi for a while and wearing it because it helps me express myself through accessorizing. but 99% of kandi makers i know are ravers and kandi itself originated from raves. i respect raving, idc what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, but I personally don't think I can stand them because of the extremely loud music and chaotic atmosphere. I also do not want to do uh... substances.

am I still allowed to make kandi even if I'm not a raver/never want to go to a rave?

I’m pretty sure 99% of us don’t rave lol

Most people who I have seen make kandi now, do it for aesthetic purposes and don’t really rave at all (outside of maybe at conventions)

About what you said with it being too loud, I have to absolutely agree with that. While I am personally fine with concerts raves are just.. too much. Flashing lights can really bother me and mixed in with really loud music I think I would explode lo
