hi! welcome!

Buy high quality string, it'll last long and be super strong.. it hurts when a project breaks and the cost is worth it

charms can really spruce up anything, and their in a lot of stores like walmart or hobby lobby (if your willing to shop there)

gluing your knots with something like clear nail polish or hot glue can better secure your project

take breaks! dont push yourself too hard cause burnout can hit like a truck

dont let fails upset you, everyone here has a failed project

and pintrest has many cool ideas

hi!!! YAY HOMESTUCK!!!

tip one: find all the beads/string you can. doesn't matter if it's from a craft kit from your four year old sister she doesn't use anymore or scraps you thought you couldn't use.

tip two: don't be super ambitious; aka, i do not recommend making all the homestuck kids and trolls singles. it takes WAY TOO LONG.

tip three: find patterns you like. go on tiktok (if you have it) and search 'kandi' or 'kandi patterns', go on youtube and search 'kandi' or 'kandi tutorials' or (if you don't have tiktok) 'kandi tiktoks' cause those videos have so many patterns. finally, this website. there are lots of nepeta patterns here as well, and some cool homestucks to talk to!!!

tip four: have fun! kao happy
