When making specific patterns like X based cuffs, they wont look like a bracelet for around the first four layers of points.. If that makes sense. It really deterred me in the beginning because I didn't know why my bracelets weren't braceleting.

For peyote stich, always try to pull the string in the same direction the beads are going. Is the pattern going up? Pull the string in the same direction to avoid it getting loose and out of place.

Tie your knots EXTREMELY tight and use actual stretch chord and not like.. the yarn-like or plasticky material. It doesn't stay.

It's okay to start a project over. As in, cutting the string up and reusing the beads

When making masks, make sure it fits snug. Better to have snug than loose, trust me lol.

i like ur username :3

My advice is to watch lots of tutorials before following patterns, they can be pretty confusing if you don’t fully understand them

My other advice is when you’re using a pattern, download it into like, a drawing app, or print it if you can, so you can mark off the beads after you’ve put them on. I’ve lost my place so many times and messed up, and then I had to redo my project! Don’t be like me!

Also… stretch magic is the worst string in the world… don’t let its cheap price allure you. Anything is bette

I personally like to use a clothespin to hold my string nice and tight in between rows/columns of beads, so my hands don't get tired as quickly. You can put the string through the hole in the clothespin itself for the next row! I also recommend getting a thick, non-pointy needle depending on what elastic you use because it makes it easier to thread the beads happy If it's a cloth covered elastic, it likely won't be too hard to thread, but if it's just elastic it can be slippery and thin which makes it hard to hold.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes!! Have fun happy
